Qi Sensory Behaviour Detective Part 2
Date & Time
Date - November 18, 2019
5:30 pm - 7:45 pm
Primrose Resource Centre – 6811-92a Ave
6811-92a Ave, Edmonton
We are proud to present this new series of workshops where parents will be able to get a deeper, better understanding of concepts and have the opportunity to have meaningful discussions and even become teachers themselves with the direction of Jon Jon and the Primrose facilitator.
Qi Sensory Behaviour Detective shares that behaviour is neither good nor bad; and is the result of the environment and situational context that surrounds a person. It provides an understanding as to why children behave, react, and learn differently based on these factors; how becoming a sensory behaviour detective helps to discover the different sensory needs that motivate children to learn positive behaviours; and how to adapt the environment to avoid sensory stimuli that can trigger a challenging behaviour.
