In our meal plan, morning snack and afternoon snack are offered to the children. In this specific time it will consist of at least two food groups. At lunch time our meal consists of four food groups, as well as milk. Our menu is reviewed every 6 months with the Assistant Director/Director to ensure that it meets the most up to date nutritional guide according to Health Canada. All items are approved by a dietitian and then implemented into the meal plan. GEF supplies all our food, and makes everything from scratch. Food and drink containing excess sugar, salt additives, and preservatives and added food coloring will be avoided.
